Driving into Sedona
Sedona, Founded 1902, near the Coconino National Forest. Windy narrow highway 179 goes through the town. Red biplane soars above head in the pale blue sky, almost the color of the red rocks below. Red rocks emerge from the hills like steeples. Helicopter rides available through the red rock steeples. Native American symbols around town and streets named Painted Canyon, Silver Son, Bowstring, High Cloud Trail, Redwing Lane, etc. Local artists display their work at small galleries along the strip. Cacti protrude from the red rocks. Just saw a bar called the Krazy Kyote. We've arrived at Bear Wallow Lane - Rancho Sedona RVs Mobilodge.
